  The Velocity X5D was designed with HPC and high density application computing in mind. Powered by the latest Dual & Quad-Core Intel® processors, the Velocity X5D has the computational power of 2 servers in the space of 1. Two completely independent servers/nodes in 1U of rack space can equal 336 cores, 672GB of ram, and 84 servers in a standard 42U rack. The end result is accelerated applications with lower power and cooling costs.
